Jim Jones, November 28, 1953 – December 11, 2022
Jim purchased his ’55 in the fall of 2005. It wasn’t running at that time. He installed side mount motor mounts and a trans cross member from a ’68 Camaro, and a bell housing side mount from frame. He added a ’68 Camaro 12 bolt posi with 410 gear, front disc brakes, and was able to get a 396 big block running. He added hooker headers with flow master exhaust system, and over time cleaned up the interior and installed new interior window felts. He wanted to get the ’55 repainted, but decided to go with black wrap by ACW wraps. They are located in Woodstock, Ga. The ACW black wrap turned out great and looks really good.
